These general terms and conditions of sale govern the relationship between La Savonnerie Marseillaise and any person using the La Savonnerie Marseillaise website.\u00a0savonenpaillette.com<\/a>\u00a0to place an order. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, as well as the prices and descriptions of the products offered.<\/p>\n

1. PRESENTATION AND AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS<\/h3>\n

The products presented on the site are subject to change by the manufacturers. Photos of items shown are not contractual. The products offered for sale on the site are in principle available from La Savonnerie Marseillaise. In the event of special offers on certain items, La Savonnerie Marseillaise will be able to satisfy the availability of the products during the entire period indicated for the special offers.<\/p>\n

2. ORDER<\/h3>\n

The order will only be registered once payment has been received and cleared in full. Orders received on the website will only be honoured while stocks last. In the event of temporary or permanent unavailability of a product, Savonnerie Marseillaise undertakes to inform the customer as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

3. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL<\/h3>\n

In the case of distance selling, the customer has a period of seven clear days in which to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to justify their decision or pay any penalties. This period runs from receipt of the order. If the right of withdrawal is exercised, the company Savonnerie Marseillaise will reimburse the customer for all sums paid to La Savonnerie Marseillaise (including the value of the shipping costs for sending the parcel) within 30 days of exercising the right of withdrawal.

5. PAYMENT<\/h3>\n

Payment can be made by cheque made payable to Savonnerie Marseillaise, or by paypal online. The items ordered will only be dispatched once the cheque or payment has cleared.<\/p>\n

6. TRANSPORT<\/h3>\n

Products are transported at the recipient's risk, regardless of the mode of transport, carriage paid or carriage forward. The recipient must check the condition of the products on receipt and, if necessary, make reservations with the carrier by confirming the complaint by registered letter within three working days and notify us in writing within four days of delivery. Once this period has elapsed, we will no longer be able to recognise any claims.<\/p>\n

7. RETURN<\/h3>\n

Items may be exchanged or refunded. Items must be returned or refunded within 15 days of receipt. Returned products must be in perfect condition and in their original packaging.
\nIn the case of a new order for less than the initial amount, the customer will receive a cheque for the difference upon receipt of the request.
\nPostage costs for the exchange, return and new shipment shall be borne by the customer.
\nReimbursement will be made after deduction of the flat-rate costs of processing the order.
\nAny request for an exchange or refund must be made by post to the Savonnerie Marseillaise address.<\/p>\n

8. SELLING PRICE<\/h3>\n

Prices are given in euros, inclusive of all taxes. They take into account the VAT applicable on the day of the order, which varies according to the product. Prices may be modified in the event of a change in the VAT rate, in the event of an error, or by decision of the manufacturer.<\/p>\n

9. IDENTIFICATION<\/h3>\n

All customers of the site must follow an online registration procedure in order to place an order. The information requested is essential for the processing and delivery of orders. Parcels that have to be represented on delivery due to a customer identification error will be charged to the customer. The final validation of the order and\/or the on-line provision of the bank card number constitutes the signature and express acceptance of all the operations carried out on the site and constitutes proof of the order in accordance with the provisions of the law of 13 March 2000.<\/p>\n

10. LIABILITY<\/h3>\n

La Savonnerie Marseillaise cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the Internet network, in particular a break in service, external intrusion or the presence of a computer virus, or for any event qualified as force majeure, in accordance with jurisprudence, nor for the non-conforming use of the products ordered.<\/p>\n

11. OWNERSHIP OF GOODS<\/h3>\n

La Savonnerie Marseillaise remains the owner of the goods until full payment of the price as well as ancillary costs and interest if any is due in accordance with the law of 12 May 1980 and 13 July 1967.<\/p>\n

12. APPLICABLE LAW<\/h3>\n

These terms and conditions are governed by French law and by the provisions of the French Consumer Code relating to distance selling in France.<\/p>\n

13. ATTRIBUTION OF COMPETENCE<\/h3>\n

In the event of any dispute relating to the performance of the clauses and conditions set out above and in the absence of an amicable agreement between the parties, the Courts of Marseille shall have sole jurisdiction.<\/p>\n
